We have almost made it through to the end of March! Can you believe that Women’s History Month is almost over for the year? What better way to celebrate than by reconnecting with the things that bring us purpose and fulfillment?

Women’s History Month is defined in the United Stated as follows: “The Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum join in commemorating and encouraging the study, observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history.”

And this year’s theme was: “Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope.”

I’m all for it, even though a month is nowhere near enough time to celebrate the amazing figures in history that have shaped this country and the world.

As Women’s History Month draws to a close, here are some goals to refocus on as we prepare to ring in April and turn our gazes to the remainder of 2022.

1. CONTINUE LEARNING ABOUT WOMEN’S HISTORY

Like I stated above, one month is not even close to enough time (even studying daily!) to learn all about the amazing women who have impacted the world.

Here are some resources to continue learning as much as you can, whenever you can.

March 30th | Free Virtual Event | Smithsonian Institution

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg “Great Americans” Medal Posthumous Presentation

The late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, recognized for her groundbreaking commitment to gender equity and human rights, will posthumously receive the National Museum of American History’s signature honor, the “Great Americans” medal. Her children, Jane C. Ginsburg and James S. Ginsburg will accept the medal on their mother’s behalf. A significant selection of artifacts representing the justice’s Supreme Court career will be donated by her family during the virtual ceremony.
