Not too long ago, a tradesman would get ridiculed for donning safety gear on a job site. If you sported protective eyewear while grinding off the corners of a piece of unistrut, well… the heckling that would follow from that “mistake” would follow you into your retirement. Thankfully, times have changed. In fact, the opposite reaction is commonplace now for those who don’t use safety gear on even the most mundane tasks.
