School Choice Is The Best Choice

If schools have to compete for enrollment, and therefore have to create a better product (a.k.a. education), how is that a bad idea? I mean who (other than the teacher’s unions and therefore the Democrats) would be opposed to this? It just doesn’t make sense.

    The lower student population may not offset the decreased budget and this can undermine the value of public education.

    So because of budgetary issues, my student is forced to attend a below average school? Maybe districts need to rethink funding allocation then. That sounds like their problem and not ours.
