It amazes me that some Americans think they need to travel internationally to discover the most beautiful places in the World. Truth is, the often forgotten other non-contiguous state is just as beautiful as its counterpart in the Pacific and often, way more affordable. And with all the new “pandemic travel restrictions,” traveling to this great domestic wonder may be your best chance to at least feel like you’re traveling abroad.
The hope in me believes next summer will be different, and that relaxing travel with minor Covid-related safeguards is a real possibility. So, my advice is to book now… just in case. Just make sure you book with flexible cancellation policies in place. Because, if you’re like me, you don’t want to travel during this hysteria. And unless it subsides, you too would rather just stay home.Â
