Sack of Rome(Roma)
The king of the Visigoths was King Alaric the bold and he besieged Rome in 410 A.D and demanded a withdrawal tribute that was enormous (at the time) 5,000 pounds of gold, 30,000 pounds of silver, 4,000 silk tunics and 3,000 scarlet-dyed skins also 3,000 pounds of pepper. Alaric wanted land and fresh grain for his people but the Romans gave his people rotten grain and no land.
