Your first reason for why “skin care is the best self-care you can do” is spot on! It had to become a ritual for me as well. And now that it is, I feel so great and love my skin again! I’m on the “skincare train,” but are there any books in particular that you thought were helpful?

Sorry I think I posted a comment instead of replying, adding again just to make sure you get a notificaiton 🙂
I am so happy to hear that you love your skin again!! I am with you there, it has been life-changing for me as well.
The first book I read was – The Little Book of Skin Care: Korean Beauty Secrets for Healthy, Glowing Skin by Charlotte Cho. I thought this was a great starting point and provided some insight into Korean skincare, which was a nice perspective.
I recently read – skinCARE: The ultimate no-nonsense guide by Caroline Hirons. Which had some great content as well, as a bonus it is a newer book.
Both of these books start off at a fairly beginner level and build-up, so if you have learned the basics you may end up reading really fast at first!
Then there is – The New Science of Perfect Skin that I am currently reading. It is from a more scientific perspective, but it is a bit older, so there have been some advancements with active ingredients and studies since then, but I think it still provides an interesting point of view.
If you ever read any skincare books that you love, please share them with me! I am always on the hunt for more!
