A Cautionary Tale For Dog Owners
Spring is coming in fast. And given the locked-down winter we all suffered through, I’m pretty sure we’re all welcoming it with open arms. But with Spring comes new plant growth. And certain plants in particular are extremely dangerous to your pets. And although any pet can encounter these plants, it seems as though dogs are typically the species at most risk. My cousin is a veterinarian and explained to me that late Spring through Fall are the seasons dog owners should be wary of. And if your dog is acting strange a few days after a walk through the woods, or maybe even your own neighborhood, the grass awn may be the culprit for the change in behavior. And the scary thing is, if this is the case, time is not your friend.
