I dream of Santorni

I was lucky enough to travel to Santorini, Greece about 10yrs ago and I still think about this trip. One of the best trips of my life, and I would love to go back again someday. 

My stay in Santorini was part of a 10 day trip to Greece, the first 8 days in Santorini, the other 2 in Athens. As much as I enjoyed Athens, I would definitely do 9, if not all 10 days in Santorini if I were to go again. With the beautiful white buildings and blue doors against the Aegean Sea, it’s hard to not fall in love right away. Then, add the food…oh the food. Gyros for days. 

That being said, my biggest recommendation if you’re going to go is to take a trip to Oia, a small village where you can see the sunset into the sea. Go for a late lunch, do some shopping and then grab a spot where everyone is gathering to take in the view. Amazing.
